Split lines between singers

K-pop lines are often shared — one member starts the phrase and another finishes it. You can now split a single lyric line into parts and give each part its own singer. Every part renders in that member's color, in every language you've added, just like a classic color-coded lyric video.

How to use it: in the Sync step, hover a line in the lyric sheet and click the split icon next to its timing. The line opens into indented parts — edit each part's text, then select a part and pick its member with the member chips (or keys 1–9). Click the icon again to merge it back. Lines you don't split work exactly as before.

Every part has its own start and end, so the member highlight hands over at the exact moment the next singer comes in — and if there's a breath between them, nobody is highlighted in the gap. Until you set them, parts split the line by text length, so an 80/20 phrase already lands close.

How to use it: while the audio plays, tap E when a singer stops and S when the next one comes in. Or type exact times into a part's start and end boxes. Clear a box to go back to automatic. Line distribution videos count each member's time per part too.

When you import from colorcodedlyrics.com, lines that change color halfway through are now split for you, with each part assigned to the right member. Romanization and original lyrics are split together when their colors line up.

The In and Out times in the Sync step are now text boxes. Type a time like 1:02.5 or 62.5 and press Enter. The crosshair button right next to each box still snaps it to the playhead.

Made a change you didn't mean to? Press ⌘ Z (Ctrl Z on Windows) to undo it, and add ⇧ to redo. It works on every step — lyrics, members, timing, style — and quick bursts of edits, like typing or dragging a slider, undo together.

Inside a text box, the shortcut undoes your typing as usual; click outside the box to undo project changes.
